We had a chance this past summer to work with this young lady to do some promotional wedding hair and gown shots. Studio lighting and unique wedding dresses combine to make some interesting shots.
Here is one image from that shoot. More to soon follow.

The Bride in this wedding couple is an identical twin, her twin being one of her brides maids. We shot both of these twins weddings, so a later post might cause some of you to have da ja vue.
.
This wedding took place this past summer on a beautiful sunny day in downtown Guelph Ontario. The couple used the tallest church in Guelph and probably the largest church I’ve ever been in. Wes and I both split up for the pre wedding. I capturing the Men and Wes with the ladies. After this it was off to the massive church. There is defiantly no problem moving around in this place, it’s a photographers dream. It even has a second level full of organ pipes that we had access too.
The group photos were taken at the Riverside park in Guelph. Peaceful with tones of greenery. This was a couple that wasn’t afraid to have fun. We have shots of all the grooms men pretending to urinate off the side of the river and shots of the groom playing hide and seek with the brides maids.
At the end of the night, we enjoyed a lovely reception full of huge buffets of food in a huge brightly sky lit wedding hall. Dancing and fun where had by all.

This couple had some issues the first time around while getting married. A death in the family stopped their festivities and pretty much ended their night. A year later and a vibrant happy couple is back and ready to recapture their memories. Shooting this couple and their lovely two children was so much fun. The bride got to wear her dress again and we got to explore some options that usually are not as possible in the time constraints of a traditional wedding structure.
After downtown we had some extra time and even shot a few at the studio.

Fall farm wedding photo
Wes and I had a blast this past fall shooting this down to earth couple at a South Western Ontario soy bean farm. The wedding party came equipped with rubber boots for the slight amount of rain we had, which actually added to the fun atmosphere.
We had a great time and got some great shots as well. This couple, had us split up at the beginning of their wedding, each capturing a different vantage from the brides home and the grooms home. Their ceremony was quite impressive and had the qualities of a small town country church that I know both the bride and groom appreciated. Following the couple after the church to the rustic barn on a family friends soy bean farm, had us excited about the possibilities when shooting in an area with such character.
The reception went off with out a hitch. An amazing cover band, playing all of todays hip hop and dance hits using their East European accents. Giving us another chance to get some awesome dance photos that were sure to impress even the wildest of Grannies.

Since we here at LoveSprouts are starting this blog page not at the beginning of our career, but well into our business, I will spend the next few posts reliving past weddings and posting some of our past work. I feel this is a great way to get the ball rolling and at the same time let you see the historical quality of our work and the progression to who we are today.
